Your Highness coming to Blu-ray
Universal Studios has announced that the fantasy comedy YOUR HIGHNESS, directed by David Gordon Green and starring Academy Award winner Natalie Portman, Academy Award nominee James Franco, Danny McBride and Zooey Deschanel, will be released on Blu-ray August 9, 2011. The film follows Prince Fabious (Franco) who is on a quest to rescue his bride from an evil wizard. Sadly, he’s being accompanied by his lazy and useless brother Thadeous (McBride). Along the way they run into a tough woman (Portman) who helps them on their quest. The film opened up in April but only grossed around $21 million which is not so great for a comedy, especially a comedy that stars two recent Oscar nominees (and one winner).
Right now there aren’t any details regarding special features for the film, however previous interviews with the director have revealed that there will be additional scenes (maybe added into the movie) as well as a making-of documentary. Although nothing is confirmed quite yet so just keep an eye out.

James Excited To Work With Mila Kunis On ‘Oz’
“It will have a lot of humor,” Franco said, adding that he’s very excited to work with Kunis on a big project. “I’ve done two small things with her. I’ve done something for Funny Or Die, a spoof of ‘The Hills’ TV show, and then we did a little scene in ‘Date Night.’ She’s great, I love working with her.”
Regarding “Oz,” however, Franco said Raimi’s approach will have a “mix of tones.”
“Sam Raimi, the director, is I think a master of capturing a feeling of old Hollywood charm and matching it with the latest technology,” Franco explained. “So he’s going to create the amazing world and take people to this place. The characters are very funny in a old Hollywood way.

James Talks Staying in School, Bromance, and His Sword Skills
James Franco plays the swashbuckling and sexy Prince Fabius in the upcoming Your Highness. When his lady love is kidnapped by an evil wizard, he and his ne’er-do-well brother, played by his former Pineapple Express costar Danny McBride, set out on a quest to rescue her. Hijinks, sword fights, and stoner humor ensue. James was on hand for the movie’s recent press day in Beverly Hills, where he talked about gearing up for the movie’s fight scenes, the secret to a solid bromance, and why he’s still pursuing his college career despite his success as an actor. Here are some highlights:
On the attention his college career has gotten:
“Well, it’s hard. It’s out of my hands, really. I really went to school for myself, and sometimes I forget that it’s not actually a public act. I’m there to learn and better myself and that part of my life is not a performance, but in some ways, it kind of has become material for public discussion, to the point where The New York Times is like, interviewing my teachers. But I don’t mind. I’m proud of everything I’m doing. I guess it’s just that part of my life is a performance, and I perform as a job, and then part of it’s kind of not. But what can you do? I can’t control it.”
